“Delivering Happiness” Day 4

Today, I invite you to take part in a contest. This was suggested by the people running the advance copy program and I thought it could be fun to have a contest to give the book away.

The Contest

I would invite each of you to reply to this blog posting with your own thoughts. I invite each of you to make your own comments on customer service and our industry. What do you think is the state of customer service in our industry? How does it compare to other industries? Do you think it’s possible for those of us selling things in this industry to “deliver happiness”? (why or why not?)

The Prize

I will award the advance copy of “Delivering Happiness” to the answer that is best from within the Continental United States. This means that you have to include your e-mail address if you would like to be considered for the prize.

If the absolute winner is not from the Continental US, I will claim you the winner and make a big deal about your posting, but the book will still go to the best answer from the Continental US.

The Rules

No anonymous comments are allowed. If you’re ashamed to put your name by it, tone it down or just don’t say it, at all.

To be eligible to win, the deadline for the posts eligible for the prize is Midnight (Pacific Standard Time) on Sunday, June 20th, 2010.

Any posting that looks like an ad for anyone’s product or services will be immediately disqualified.
