I was amazed to see that my last post was my 399th post, which means that this post is post number 400. (yes, I can count, whoo-hoo!)
I have been writing this blog since August 2009. This is not as long as I have been publishing my newsletter, of course, which I started in June of 2001, but it still seems like a long time to me. I’m amazed the number of posts I’ve written in these few years.
I’ve written about industry topics, consulting topics, followed conferences, and written some other variety of posts. Looking back over these posts, it makes me realize how many projects and how many customers I have worked with over that time, as well. My topics come from the issues I see when I work with customers, from the struggles and questions they have, and from the things that happen in our industry. Being a media partner for the conferences and writing as I attended the sessions was probably the most fun I have had in my blog postings, but the posts that ring most true to me and that I remember the most are the ones that were inspired by my customers.
Thus, it is a lucky thing for me that I work in so many situations that give me topics to write about. It is lucky both from a writing standpoint, but also from an experience standpoint — by working with a wide variety of people and projects, I get a wider perspective, run into more unique situations – it makes my life a whole lot more interesting, to boot!
