Paper Systems Vs. Automated Systems

December 3, 2014

In the December 2014 “Out on a LIMS®” newsletter issue that came out, yesterday, I reissued a past newsletter article that addresses the fact that a paper system is not the same as an automated system.

From the numbers and some remarks I’m seeing and hearing about it, I think there’s enough interest in this topic that I should also put the link here in the blog. Here is the link to “When Not to Replace Your Paper System”:

If you are a reader of this blog but would also like to join the newsletter, which is also free, here is the signup link:

Thank you for documenting. Some people have been amazed when I have told them that with some legal requirements, some paper systems have been better to still with, at least for the moment. Not everything has to be totally automated and some things do need a paper backup and images offsite.
