What Can be Done in a Day

In the last two posts, I'd been offering a free day of consulting per valid referral that turns into business (https://outonalims.com/2016/04/21/free-consulting-from-geometrick-enterprises-based-on-referrals/). In the last post, I said that I would, today, give some ideas what can be done in a day.

  1. That "to do" list full of little things that need to be done but that you never get time to do can be melted down into something smaller.
  2. A medium-sized system design can be created.
  3. A large system design can be started with good notes left in it about what the outstanding questions are and where the work left off.
  4. Prepare bugs to be sent to the software vendor. Let's face it - most of us especially dislike this task. Wouldn't it be great to pawn it off on someone else?
  5. Replace all the characters that V7 apparently doesn't allow in your LIMSBasic with ones that are acceptable.
